There’s something especially meaningful about gathering around a table with a small group of creative professionals who truly value connection — and that’s exactly what made the recent dinner with the Boston Planners Dining Club so memorable.
We spent the evening at the beautiful On The River Inn in the charming town of Woodstock — a setting that perfectly matched the tone of the night: thoughtful, relaxed, and intentionally intimate.
Beautifully planned and hosted by Tammy Golson, the evening reflected exactly what makes these gatherings so special: intention, creativity, and genuine connection. Cocktails began upstairs in The Library, where the cozy atmosphere made it easy to settle into conversation right away. From there, we moved downstairs to The Bistro for dinner, where the evening unfolded around a beautifully styled table filled with laughter, storytelling, and meaningful conversation.
This gathering was intentionally small — very much quality over quantity — and it created space for thoughtful discussion and new relationships to grow naturally. It was such a creative and accomplished group, and I truly felt lucky to be around the table with everyone who joined.
As a photographer, evenings like this are always special to document. There’s something different about photographing planners when they’re able to step away from producing events and simply enjoy being guests themselves. The energy is warm, collaborative, and inspiring — exactly the kind of environment that reminds me why I love working in this industry so much.
The florals by Jasper and Prudence added a beautiful, organic layer to the table design and helped create a setting that felt both elevated and welcoming — perfectly suited for the evening.
